Signing up your swimmer for a swim meet

You must "declare" (sign up) your swimmer on SwimTopia by Tuesday at NOON or they cannot swim in the meet.

To enter your swimmer(s) for a meet, please follow these instructions:

  • Start by going to the Swim Meet & Event Sign-Up page and then click on the green "Meet Entry" button
  • Next click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the page.
  • For each swimmer select an option from the dropdown list next to his/her name: "Attending" or "Not Attending."
  • Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

Please notify coaches or lldophinsswim at gmail dot com by 7 AM if your swimmer is unable to swim in the meet

  • 6:30 AM – Parking lot setup, pool gates open
  • 6:30-6:45 AM – LLD swimmer check-in
  • 6:45–7:15 AM – LLD swimmer warm-ups
  • 7:15–7:45 AM – away team warm-ups
  • 7:30 AM – Meetings begin:
    • S&T Meeting (Starter Area): All Starters and Officials
    • Timers Meeting (Pool House Lobby)
    • Clerks/Shepherds Meeting (Clerk Tent)
  • 7:50 AM – Coach’s scratch meeting (Pool House Lobby)
  • 8:00 AM – Meet begins!

Please note arrival times are different for home meets and away meets.

Meet Day - What to expect

Arrive on time.

All swimmers competing must be present at the pool and checked in with the coaches 20 minutes prior to the start of the meet or they will be scratched and not allowed to swim their events. 

When arriving have your swimmer check in with a coach at the main gate to the pool. PLEASE do this first before you do anything else—even before warm ups!

It is a good idea to bring a Sharpie to write your child’s event, heat, and lane numbers on his/her hand (for example, 12/3/5 = event 12, heat 3, lane 5). 

CITs will also be helping swimmers write down events by the fence where the line-up is posted. Check your e-mail Friday night for the heat sheet.

Please be sure to follow the event numbers throughout the meet. The starter will not stop the meet if your child does not show up for his/her event and there will not be another chance to swim it.
